Birth has humbled me to meet myself at the boundary of belief, personal evolution, reclamation, and remembering, that this mother-path is best walked slowly, and with support.
I have sat at the threshold of maiden to mother with hundreds of women, in their chosen sanctuaries, their cozy homes, where families are formed, and born.
With deep reverence, awe, and authenticity, I hold women on their unique pathway of personal growth, motherhood and transformation.
The birth of my daughter initiated me through a powerful portal to embody all that I had studied and come to trust about a woman’s biological genius.

This experience confirmed to me that
Birth is inherently safe, our bodies know the way, and that a sovereign birth is an essential freedom that all women can reclaim as their own.
My journey began on the path of Yoga, spending many years visiting Mother India, steeping in the wonder of the body, delving into the ancestral wisdom of Ayurveda, and studying holistic nutrition, herbalism and plant medicine.
Weaving these wisdom paths, I began holding space for women to return to the intuition of the seasons, cycles and their bodies through gathering in community.
After 5 years as a doula working within the medical system, it became increasingly evident that the current birth culture does not serve the best interest of women, or their families.
I decided to divest from a system perpetuating the power dynamics and harm intrinsic to the industrial medical model, and claim my sovereign authority as a traditional birth attendant.
